Dental treatment at the dental school

  • Dental students are required to follow certain steps, so it will take numerous appointments to complete your treatment.
  • You are considered a patient of record as long as you are a "teaching case" for our students.
  • You are required to be on time for all dental appointments. If you are unable to keep your appointment, a 24-hour notice is required to your clinic coordinator.
  • Two failed appointments or 2 cancellations without 24-hour notice, multiple late appointments or unsuccessful attempts to reach you by phone is cause for dismissal from our school program.
  • You must update your MyDental information or notify the Registration Assistant when you check in of any changes in your name, phone number, address and Medicaid coverage.
