We can’t wait to welcome you home for Alumni Reunion Weekend, May 29–31. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your visit.

 

Reunion Weekend Starts Here

First Stop: Reunion Headquarters 

Start your weekend at Reunion Headquarters, located on the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union. This is your central hub for everything you need to kick off Reunion Weekend. 

Pick up your: 

  • Alumni keepsake nametag 
  • Complimentary campus parking pass 
  • Weekend guide featuring event details and a campus map 

Our team will be there to welcome you and answer any questions. 

Arriving later? 
If you can’t make it to Reunion Headquarters on Friday before 4 p.m, nametags will be available at Friday Night Parties. 

Reunion Headquarters Hours 

  • Friday, May 29 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 
  • Saturday, May 30 | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

Plan Your Visit

Parking 

Complimentary campus parking is available for all reunion guests in both visitor structures with a validated parking pass. 

Visitor Parking Structures: 

  • 16th Street Parking Structure (749 N. 16th St.) 
  • Wells Street Parking Structure (1240 W. Wells St.) 

How it works: 

  • Take a ticket when entering the structure  
  • Display the ticket on your dashboard  
  • At exit: 
    • Scan your entry ticket first
    • When prompted for payment, scan your validated parking pass.

Your validated parking pass is valid for multiple uses throughout the weekend — be sure to keep it handy. To receive your validated parking pass, please stop by Reunion Headquarters.

What to Wear 

Dress for comfort—and don’t forget your Marquette blue and gold! 

  • Daytime: Casual, spirit wear encouraged 
  • Evening events: Slightly dressier 
  • Tip: Wear layers—many events are outdoors, rain or shine

A Conversation with Coach Shaka Smart: Protecting Our Culture. Evolving with Intention.

LOVELLSTRONG Legacy Run/Walk  

The LOVELLSTRONG Legacy Run/Walk takes place in Lake Park and starts and ends at Picnic Area #6. There will be a short welcome at the start of the race, please check in prior to 9 a.m.

Lake Park – Picnic Area #6 
2975 N. Lake Park Road, Milwaukee 

Enter Lake Park using the north entrance off North Lincoln Memorial Drive (see map below). The address for Lake Park will not take you directly to the event location, as Picnic Area #6 is located at the north end of the park. You can utilize thepark mapandGoogle Map pinto find the picnic area.  

The race begins and ends at Picnic Area #6. This 5K course heads south through Lake Park before looping back to the starting point. Participants will complete the route twice. 

Runners and walkers are invited to enjoy healthy snacks and water at the finish.

The run/walk will happen rain or shine. If there is thunder or lightning near the park, we will cancel the event.
