If you want students to focus on answering questions rather than on scoring, you can hide the point values during the test. When point values are hidden, students will treat all questions equally.

1. Navigate to Assessments on the main navigation and select Quizzes from the dropdown menu.
2. Click Edit next to an already existing quiz or exam and expand 'Timing & Display' section to check Hide question point values. 

Note: Students do not have the ability to turn this feature on or off.
