Brittany Polacek is a Clinical Training Coodinator in the Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology (CECP).
Brittany's experience in the mental health field has been diverse: she has worked in a variety of settings including non-profit, vocational rehabilitation and private practice. Brittany currently serves clients in a private practice setting. The areas of her clinical focus are primarily: parenting, family dysfunction, burnout, perfectionism and body-image development.
Beyond her clinical practice, Brittany has found fulfillment in coordinating education and training opportunities for counseling students. Brittany believes experiential learning and supportive supervision are key to adequate professional development for counseling students.
