parna Bawa, Bus Ad ’99, was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2025.
She is executive vice president and chief legal and people officer at Intel Corp. She reports to Intel Chief Executive Officer Lip‑Bu Tan and serves as a member of Intel’s Executive Leadership Team. In this role, Bawa leads Intel’s global Legal, Ethics & Compliance and People organizations, integrating enterprise legal leadership, governance and people strategy to support Intel’s transformation and long‑term execution at scale.
Bawa brings extensive experience operating and advising global technology companies during periods of rapid growth, transformation and complexity. She is a trusted adviser to executive teams and boards, known for balancing sound business judgment, governance and risk management with the pace and accountability required in highly competitive, innovation‑driven environments. Her leadership spans public company governance, global workforce strategy, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory engagement, and building high‑performing teams in fast‑growing, complex organizations.
Prior to joining Intel, Bawa served as chief operating officer of Zoom Video Communications, helping guide the company through significant scale and complexity. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Magento Commerce, Nimble Storage and Inphi Corp., where she built and led global legal teams, supported international expansion and played key roles in multiple IPOs and strategic transactions, including Nimble Storage’s acquisition by Hewlett‑Packard Enterprise. She began her career in technology investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank.
Bawa serves as an independent board member of Palo Alto Networks. She holds a law degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette.
