Ms. Christine Woleske

Chris Woleske, Law ’94, was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2020.

Chris spent 27 years at Bellin Health in many leadership roles including general counsel, chief operating officer and ultimately president and chief executive officer of Bellin Health from 2018 to 2022. After leading the merger of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System (now “Emplify Health”), Woleske took on the role of executive vice president of Emplify Health and Bellin Region president from 2022-2025 when Woleske retired. Emplify Health is comprised of 11 hospitals and more than 100 clinics across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Before joining Bellin Health, Woleske practiced law at Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak and Jerry in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Woleske is the past chair of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation Board and has been honored for her leadership and commitment to the community. She is currently a member of the boards of directors of the Green Bay Packers and Krueger International Inc.

A graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program, Woleske earned her juris doctor from Marquette University Law School and has a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
