Jack Goods

Jack Goods, Comm ’17, Grad ’26, is a communication specialist in the Office of Marketing and Communication and chair of University Staff Senate.

In his role, Goods supports internal communication strategies aimed at informing and engaging faculty, staff, students and parents through various media. He serves as editor of the university’s primary and award-winning internal communication vehicle, Marquette Today, and has assisted in the development and rollout of numerous communication initiatives, including the inauguration of Marquette University’s 25th president, the Campus Climate Study, the university's Artificial Intelligence Taskforce, annual award celebrations for faculty and staff and Homecoming Week. Goods is also part of the LEAD (Leadership Engagement and Dialogue) Team and is a contributing writer to several university publications, including Marquette Magazine.

Prior to joining Marquette, Goods worked as a sports journalist, with stops as a reporter for The Buffalo News and sports editor of the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram. He is in his third year as a member of University Staff Senate, having previously served as vice chair and chair of the Communication Subcommittee.

Goods earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marquette University, graduating magna cum laude. He also earned his MBA from Marquette University.
