Raynor Medieval Works Digitized for IU Collection

Some of the oldest manuscripts in Raynor Library and the Haggerty Museum are now available digitally as part of Indiana University’s Peripheral Manuscripts collection. The digitized medieval manuscripts from Raynor Library that are accessible in the Peripheral Manuscripts collection include:

  • 1350 Breviary: A fragment of a notated Italian breviary from the late 14th to early 15th century with its original binding.
  • Homiliary: A 16-century Spanish homiliary that includes sermons for use during the Lenten season and Easter.

The Peripheral Manuscripts project aims to bring attention to important medieval manuscripts across the American Midwest
