Raynor Library's longstanding interlibrary loan service lets you borrow books and other materials from partner libraries when those resources are not available at Raynor. Coming May 20, the steps to managing these requests will change.
The steps will be simpler and more seamlessly integrated into the library’s search interface. In addition, the library search interface will become a more complete one-stop service both for finding and obtaining materials and for managing borrowed items, item requests, and other account details. All in all, the changes will make requesting and keeping track of items borrowed from other libraries much simpler.
These changes are happening thanks to a Raynor Library initiative to establish a new and important resource-sharing network among academic libraries in Wisconsin. This collaborative initiative will improve the availability of research materials at Marquette and the sustainability of the library’s operations overall.
More information about these changes, as well as technical support, will be provided closer to the May 20 launch. Questions can be directed via email to Raynor's interlibrary loan team.
