Self-defense Classes

Designed for female and male audiences, the self-defense program’s classes incorporate simple strategies for escaping potentially dangerous situations. 

MUPD is offering several free self-defense classes this semester to students, faculty and staff. The free self-defense program uniquely combines a hands-on approach to learning effective techniques with information about the latest national and local crime trends. 

Classes will be held on the following dates at 6pm:

  • Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in AMU 163 CANCELED
  • Thursday, March 6, 2025 AMU 163
  • Wednesday, March 19, 2025 AMU 163 
  • Thursday, April 3, 2025 AMU 163
  • Tuesday, April 8, 2025 AMU 163
