Accelerated Degree Programs (ADP)
Accelerated Degree Programs (ADP) allow current Marquette University undergraduate students to immediately move into a master's degree after completing their bachelor's degrees. ADP students take classes during their junior and/or senior years that meet requirements for both their undergraduate and graduate degrees. With proper planning, students can often complete a master's degree in one additional academic year – saving over $12,000.
The College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management offer ADP options within the areas below. A full list of Marquette University ADP programs is available here.
ADP Planning within Advising Meetings
If you are interested in a MU ADP program, please mention your interest in your academic advising meeting, so your faculty advisor can consider ADP goals within overall course selection. If you have questions about a specific ADP program, please reach out to the faculty directors listed above.
When Should I Apply for an ADP Program?
Students may submit an ADP application within their junior year. If you have application questions, Tim Carter, Senior Graduate Admission Counselor, will be happy to help.
Course Registration During Undergraduate Studies
Step 1: Register for undergraduate courses: ADP students will register for undergraduate courses during the registration appointment time assigned through CheckMarq.
If you will request graduate-level access to a course with 4000-5000 cross-listed sections (FINA 4040/5040 for example), please register for a spot in the 4000-level course. As GSM staff begin to consider graduate-level access, it is most helpful for enrollment maximums when we can help a student swap from the 4000 to the 5000-level section.
Step 2: Request access to graduate courses: Undergraduate students may request registration access for graduate courses using this form.
