When you pursue an internship, you participate in an exercise akin to the Jesuit practice of discernment. It’s an opportunity to make decisions in conversation with both your values and hopes for your career path.
Internships allow you to apply and evaluate learning from the classroom to real-world contexts. You’ll gain professional experience and a clearer vision of how you’d like to apply your learning and talents post-graduation.
Please note: paid and unpaid internships are both eligible for academic credit.
I’ve landed an internship prior to the start of summer or a semester. Now what?
If you’re seeking credit for your internship, complete the online inquiry form to begin the verification process. This step requires that you have an assigned supervisor and their contact information to share.
I’m still considering or looking for an internship. How do I find one?
We believe the journey in finding and securing an internship helps you build critical professional skills. However, guidance is available to support you, starting from the search process through credit completion.
I still have questions . . .
Check out our FAQ about internships.
