I am currently involved in an International Music Project which involves several other Universities in the USA and several music conservatories in Italy. In July 2017 I will lead a study abroad group from Marquette in Italy to perform joint concerts with the students at the Italian conservatories. I have also written extensively and presented at numerous conferences on performance psychology in music.

I love the atmosphere, the culture, and the principle of “cura personalis” or education of the whole person, a value that is lived at Marquette.
I direct a community wind band in Milwaukee, the Knightwind Ensemble, in addition to guest conducting appearances with many other groups around the USA and abroad, in addition to my Marquette work.
