This is time to gather in a supportive and welcoming community to share how we are dealing with the uncertainty we face in today’s world and to compassionately tend to all the thoughts and feelings that are arising within us. Give yourself the space to practice the art of attentive listening as we care for ourselves, each other, and our world during these challenging times.

You are welcome to attend as many as you can. 

Grab and go lunch will be provided.

God's Poetry: A Poetry-as-Prayer Workshop Series

In this 3-part series, Dr. Dinorah Cortés-Vélez will work with participants to explore the power of poetry to tap into “places of possibility within ourselves,” as great poet Audre Lorde once said. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the images of God within as they are elicited by poetry as a journey of encounter with the Divine. Participants will also be guided through a literary workshop format to write original prayers in poetic form.
