The Graduate School is excited to host Graduate Student Week with both in-person and virtual events. The week includes events for wellness and self-care, finding funding, career exploration, and closes with the Three Minute Thesis competition.
This will be a great event to connect with your fellow graduate peers and faculty, so do not miss out. Reserve your spots for each event below.

Networking Is for EveryoneNetworking is for Everyone: How to Hone Your Skills in Just 15 Minutes, is a short, virtual event designed to help graduate students develop strategies for connecting and networking with people and organizations they would like to learn more about. The first 15 minutes will be a recorded presentation, and the last 15 minutes will be a live Q&A session. |

Wisdom Walk – Tour of Wellness + Helfaer RecreationJoin your graduate student peers on a Wisdom Walk to tour the new Wellness + Helfaer Building. The tour includes stops at the Counseling Center, Medical Clinic, Student Wellness, and Recreational Sports. Step outside, get moving, and learn about a space that offers graduate students support services and wellness activities! |

Three Minute Thesis CompetitionJoin Marquette University Graduate School for its annual Three Minute Thesis competition. Watch graduate students compete and present their research in three minutes or less using one slide and no animation. There will be an array of presentations from graduate students in various disciplines. See who will walk away with the coveted prize of $500. The winner will represent Marquette University in a regional Three Minute Thesis competition at the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools. The seventh annual Graduate Student Teaching Excellence award winners will be announced along with the Graduate School Faculty Mentor awards. The faculty mentor awards recognize faculty who have excelled in the area of mentorship, with one award recognizing Faculty Research Mentorship and a second recognizing Faculty Professional Mentorship. Nominate a faculty member here. The event is free and open to Marquette and the community. Join us to see what others are saying about graduate research. |
