Kleczka Program Application
To apply for the Kleczka Washington Internship Program, please fill out the application below. The typical application will take you between 10 to 20 minutes to complete, not including your resume and cover letter.

Application Instructions
Before starting your application, have the following items available:
(1) Your current resume,
(2) A cover letter (see below for instructions),
(3) [If you aren't a Marquette student] An unofficial or official transcript, and
(4) The names and emails of two references, at least one of whom must be faculty. Evaluators do not need to write letters of recommendation; they will complete a short survey that will be automatically sent to them when you complete your application.

- Your one-page maximum resume should include the following:
- educational background (including high school and other universities attended),
- relevant work experience,
- extracurricular activities, honors, and awards, and
- any additional skills such as level of foreign language competency.
- Your cover letter of approximately 250 to 500 words should accomplish the following:
- introduce yourself and your relevant background and skills,
- explain why you would like to participate in the Kleczka Milwaukee Internship Program, and
- specify what you seek to get out of the program. Be specific about any professional development, skills growth, and/or learning opportunities that you seek from this professional experience.
- Your college transcript is only required for non-Marquette students.
- This can be an unofficial or official transcript.
- Please upload the file in a standard format (preferably as a PDF, and not an image).
