Marquette University Police Department Advisory Board

After a completed agreement with the state of Wisconsin’s Department of Justice and Attorney General Brad Schimel, Marquette University’s Department of Public Safety became the Marquette University Police Department on May 1, 2015.

The Marquette University Police Department Advisory Board was established to provide advice and recommendations to the Board of Trustees, the president, the university official to whom the Advisory Board reports or the chief with respect to MUPD policies, procedures and activities.

The Advisory Board consists of:

A Marquette employee appointed by the president to serve as chair of the Advisory Board.
A Marquette faculty member nominated by the Academic Senate.
A Marquette staff member other than an employee of the MUPD nominated by the Staff Senate.
A Marquette student nominated by Marquette University Student Government.
A community member.
