Prospective Students

Whether you are about to finish high school and looking for a "direct admit" PT program, or are about to get your bachelors degree and are looking for a professional program, quality clinical education experiences are a must when looking at PT schools. Things to consider include total time on clinical experiences, location within the professional phase curriculum, faculty support on clinical experiences, and exposure to a variety of clinical settings and locations.

At Marquette PT, there are 3 dedicated Directors of Clinical Education (DCEs) assigned to our professional phase students to assist them in selecting and completing their clinical education experiences (CEEs). Our CEEs are located throughout the curriculum, meaning that students learn skills in didactic coursework and labs and are then able to immeadiately apply those skills with real patients on a clinical experience. Marquette PT provides clinical opportunities across all 50 states and in a variety of settings, and all students get experience in outpatient orthopedics and inpatient settings.

At Marquette PT, we take pride in preparing the next generation of physical therapy professionals through rigorous academic training and immersive clinical experiences. Our students are not only equipped with the latest evidence-based knowledge, but they also embody the core values of compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

By partnering with Marquette University, you would have the opportunity to mentor and work alongside some of the most talented and dedicated future professionals in our field. We believe that by creating strong clinical partnerships, we can foster the development of highly competent and ethical practitioners while contributing to the success of your clinic.

We are also thrilled to offer a new business and leadership elective specialization. As part of this new program, clinical partners are able to accept Marquette PT students not only trained in clinical skills, but also business and leadership skills. These students complete an extended summer clinical experience that not only develops their clinical skills, but also pairs them with a business mentor to improve their leadership skills. Learn more here, or contact us at muptclinicaleducation@marquette.edu for additional information regarding establishing a clinical affiliation agreement.
