Clinical Associate Professor
Jean Fischer graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with Bachelor of Science degree in PA studies in 1985 and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014, also from UW-Madison. She joined the Marquette University PA Program in 2007 and served on the clinical faculty until 2022. She has practiced cardiovascular medicine her entire career, in both inpatient and outpatient roles, currently working at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Jean returned to the Marquette PA program clinical faculty in 2025.
She has been appointed to the Wisconsin Physician Assistant Affiliated Credentialing Board and serves as chair of the communications committee for the Interstate PA Compact Commission. Jean has held various roles in the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants, currently serving on the Legacy Committee.
She is passionate about the PA profession, patient centered care, student and provider wellbeing, enjoying time with friends and family, and exploring the great outdoors.
