Dr. Mathée-Scott is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist and is presently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Michigan State University. She will be joining the department as an Assistant Professor in the Fall. Her research interests are centered around identifying the mechanisms that contribute to language development in young children, particularly children on the autism spectrum. Her clinical experiences deeply inform her research, which aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical clinical applications.
