Assistant Director, Center for Professional Selling

Layne (Collins) Vander Heyden serves as the Assistant Director for the Center for Professional Selling at Marquette University, where she provides strategic leadership for the Sales Leadership Academy. Drawing on her background in full-funnel sales, customer success, and fundraising from previous roles at Marquette University, GMR Marketing, and AI-startup Phrasee, Layne has built the Academy to mirror the structure of a real-world sales organization. She coaches students through hands-on opportunities to sell on behalf of Marquette and partner with leading companies to learn about business development and customer success. A 2019 Marquette alumna and current MBA candidate, Layne combines industry expertise with a vision for preparing high-caliber, career-ready sales talent while advancing the growth and reputation of the Center.
