We Energies Marquette University Scholarship
The We Energies Marquette University Scholarship was established at Marquette University in 1959 through an endowment set up with the university by a past president of Wisconsin Gas. It is designed to assist students who are sons or daughters of current employees or retirees of We Energies. The scholarship award amount for the 2026-27 academic year is $4,032 and is non-renewable. Students must reapply annually to be considered.
Students wishing consideration for this scholarship must meet the criteria below and submit both an online application and a 2026-27 CONSENT TO RELEASE FORM. Please list We Energies under organization name.
Eligible candidates must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Marquette during the 2026-27 academic year.
- Be in good academic standing if currently enrolled with the university.
- Have demonstrated financial need by filing a FAFSA for the 2026-27 academic year.
- Be a son or daughter of a current or retired We Energies (or associated WBS) employee.
Please note: students receiving tuition remission, a full-tuition scholarship, or a We Energies Foundation Daughters and Sons Scholarship are not eligible for this award.
Students must return the application and consent to release form to Marquette Central by Friday, April 24th, 2026.
