What is Endodontics?
Endodontics is a specialty to remove disease from the root canal space of the tooth.
Patient Information
Important Information for external referrals:
- Temporarily, we are not accepting any new referrals for Endodontic treatment; we have received referrals to fill our capacity for the next several months. We are updating our referral process to accommodate the high volume of requests that exist.
If you have a referral for a child (minor) due to traumatic injury, please use this link.
We will contact providers for any referrals submitted within the last six months that have not been scheduled or completed.
- For patients with CCHP insurance coverage, please ensure the referral is submitted to the insurance portal DPOW by the referring office.

What to expect
At your first appointment, an explanation of the treatment is given.
At your second and third appointments, root canal treatment is performed by a resident dentist under the supervision of licensed endodontic specialists.
