This one-stop private practice has all specialties represented. We focus on high quality treatment and treatment progresses quickly. Our fees are similar to dental practices in the city.
The Faculty Practice is in-network only with Delta Dental Premier. The Faculty Practice does not accept Medicare or Medicaid (see predoctoral clinic insurance information for Medicaid patients). For all other insurance, we are out-of-network, but will submit claims on your behalf as a courtesy.

Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim (B.Ch.D., M.S., D.M.D., Ph.D.) is currently an Associate Professor of Endodontics and Director of Predoctoral Program in Endodontics at Marquette. He received his dental degree with honors, specialty training and M.S. in Endodontics and Conservative Dentistry from Mansoura University, Egypt and his Ph.D. in Endodontic Microbiology via a joint supervision program between Mansoura University, Egypt and Universität zu Köln, Germany. Dr. Ibrahim also has a doctoral degree from Universität zu Köln in the field of Hydrodynamic Disinfection in Endodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Education Association. His current research focuses on factors affecting clinical outcomes for nonsurgical and surgical endodontic treatment and factors that affect the biomechanical response of natural teeth.

Dr. Zaid Badr
Prosthodontics/General Dentistry
Dr. Zaid Badr is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident, and beautiful smiles. He brings a unique experience in esthetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, and fixed prosthodontics. He adopts the latest digital dentistry technologies for precise and comfortable results.
His clinical services include dental implant planning and restoration, including precise digitally guided implant surgery and implant-supported crowns and bridges: same-day crowns and onlays, designed and fabricated using the latest intraoral scanners and in-office CAD/CAM systems; porcelain veneers to enhance smile esthetics and correct alignment issues; teeth whitening to correct teeth staining and discolorations; bridges and full-coverage restorations to replace or strengthen damaged teeth; occlusal guards for patients with clenching or grinding habits; and digital smile design and advanced restorative planning for predictable and esthetic outcomes.
Dr. Badr received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Jordan, where he also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and a Comprehensive Clinical Course in Dental Implantology in conjunction with the German Society for Oral Implantology. He later earned his Membership Diploma from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his residency and Master of Science degree in Operative Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before joining Marquette University, he served on the faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He now serves as Director of the Technological Innovation Center at Marquette, where he teaches the next generation of dentists how to integrate the latest digital tools into patient care.

Dr. Mary Cimrmancic
General Dentistry
Dr. Mary Cimrmancic was born and raised in Milwaukee, where she earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene and D.D.S. degrees at Marquette University, before completing a Residency in General Practice at the V.A. Medical Center. Dr. Cimrmancic practiced general dentistry in private practice and community dental settings while teaching part-time at Marquette until 2011, when she came aboard as full-time faculty. She is now a Clinical Associate Professor and Comprehensive Management Group Leader. In addition to her teaching responsibilities in the clinic, Dr. Cimrmancic directs Dental Rounds and Head & Neck Anatomy courses, provides lectures in Oral Biology, Biomedical Systems, and provides laboratory instruction in Digital Dentistry. A member of numerous organizations, she is particularly active with the American Dental Association, Milwaukee Odontological Academy, Delta Sigma Delta, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Cimrmancic joined the Faculty Practice in September 2020, where she is happy to welcome her patients on Wednesdays.

Dr. Ay Bike Eke
General Dentistry
Dr. Ay Bike Eke received her D.D.S. degree at Istanbul University in Turkey. She worked as a general dentist for several years in a private dental clinic in Istanbul before moving to Milwaukee. She still practices general dentistry when she visits her country. In 2024, she completed her Master of Science degree in Dental Biomaterials at Marquette University. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Marquette University’s School of Dentistry. She welcomes patients on Wednesday and Friday afternoons in the Faculty Practice.

Dr. Jeffrey Janosik
General Dentistry
Dr. Janosik received his Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette in 1974 and went on to graduate from Marquette with his D.D.S. in 1978. Dr. Janosik practiced in Racine for 40 years while also committing to the future of dentistry by teaching part-time. He did this for several years before joining Marquette as full-time faculty in 2019. Dr. Janosik’s interests place high importance on metal free restorations, sleep apnea and facial aesthetics. Dr. Janosik is honored to be at Marquette making a difference for students, patients and staff. He welcomes patients on Thursdays in Faculty Practice.

Dr. Christopher Okunseri
General Dentistry
Dr. Christopher Okunseri received his dental training at the University of Benin, Nigeria. He worked for several years in Nigeria before receiving a Masters in Dental Public Health from Eastman Dental Institute. Dr. Okunseri moved to the United States and completed a residency program in Dental Public Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. Dr. Okunseri is certified by the American Board of Dental Public Health, is President of the American Board of Dental Public Health and an active member of various associations. He is passionate about research for the underserved, disadvantaged and racial/ethnic minority populations and works tirelessly to secure funding for several foundations. Dr. Okunseri is a professor and Director of the Predoctoral Program in Dental Public Health at Marquette University’s School of Dentistry and an adjunct professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He can be found engaged in patient care on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings in Faculty Practice.

Dr. Altaf Shah
General and Special Care Dentistry
Dr. Altaf H. Shah received his bachelor's degree in dentistry in India and began his career as a Dentist with Jammu & Kashmir Health Department. Dr. Shah completed his Master of Science in Community Dental Practice from Kings College, London University and then a postgraduate clinical certificate in Special Care Dentistry from Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, London in 2009. He worked as a Faculty at College of Dentistry, King Saud University, Riyadh and Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia before being an instrumental part in establishing a new dental school with Dar Al Uloom University, Riyadh. In 2018, Dr. Shah started the Special Care Dentistry clinics at the University Dental Hospital, King Saud University, the largest dental teaching institute in the Middle East and North African Region. Dr. Shah received a fellowship award from Special Care Dentistry Association in Columbus, Ohio and was inducted as a member of board of directors of the American Association of Hospital Dentists (AAHD) in 2022. Dr. Shah is currently an Associate Professor at Urgent & Special Care Dentistry Clinics and he welcomes general patients, as well as individuals with special needs and medically complex patients, on Monday and Wednesday mornings in the Faculty Practice.

Dr. Jorge Velasquez
General Dentistry
Dr. Jorge Velasquez is Colombian by birth, but grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and is fluent in English and Spanish. He returned to Colombia to complete his degree in Dentistry at the Autonomous University of Manizales. After working as a General Dentist, he furthered his education by attending the Prosthodontic Program in Guadalajara Mexico and became Faculty in the Autonomous University of Guadalajara as Director of the Fixed Prosthodontic Department. Dr. Velasquez operated a successful private practice and was offered a Directorship of a Dental Hygiene program in Ft. Lauderdale which made Florida home for several years. He joined Marquette as Full-Time Faculty in 2018 where he assists students in designing best treatment options for complex cases. Fridays are dedicated to Faculty Practice where he delivers care to his patients for all their restorative needs.

Dr. Marinho Del Santo
Orthodontics
Dr. Del Santo was born into an Italian family in Sao Paulo-Brazil, where he obtained his D.D.S. at the University of Sao Paulo S.P., Brazil in 1989, and then went on to complete his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Anatomy in 1997. After receiving his Master of Science in Orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas TX in 1999, he had his own Orthodontic practice in Brazil before joining Marquette as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics in 2021. Dr. Del Santo is a current Reviewer of the A.J.O.D.O., The Angle Orthodontist and Dental Press, as well as serving as Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2019. Dr. Del Santo has dedicated his professional time to evidence-based and humanizing-oriented orthodontic practices which is evident when seeing patients on Monday afternoons in the Faculty Practice.

Dr. David (Dawei) Liu
Orthodontics
Dr. Dawei Liu received his D.D.S. and M.S. from China Medical University, his Ph.D. from Peking University in China and M.Sc. Orthodontics at Marquette University. Dr. Liu worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics, Arhus University, Denmark before moving to the U.S., where he continued his academic career in the Departments of Orthodontics at Indiana University and then Marquette University, where he is currently the Orthodontic Program Director and Research Director. Dr. Liu is an A.B.O. certified orthodontist and an active member of the Angle Society, A.A.O., A.B.O., E.O.S., Tweed Foundation, the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and the Orthopedic Research Society. In addition, Dr. Liu is an ABO board examiner and a member of the editorial board of American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Liu sees patients of all ages on Monday and Thursday mornings in Faculty Practice.

Dr. H. Cem Gungor
Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. H. Cem Gungor is a native of Turkish Republic. He graduated with his D.D.S. from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Pediatric Dentistry. As a Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the university, Dr. Gungor also researched and published studies related to the field of pediatric dentistry before moving to Milwaukee in 2019. He is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Marquette, a member of the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) and serves as an associate editor to the journal, Dental Trumatology. Dr. Gungor enjoys working with children on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings to achieve bright, smiling faces.

Dr. Arndt Guentsch
Periodontics/General Dentistry
Dr. Arndt Guentsch received his Periodontics training and degree in Germany. He earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Ph.D. from the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena in Germany. He then went on to attain his Masters in Health Business Administration from the Friedrich-Alexander-University Nuremberg. Dr. Guentsch is Board Certified from the German Society of Periodontology and active member of the American Academy of Periodontology. He was faculty at the University Hospital in Jena, Germany before joining Marquette in 2015 where he is currently the Chair of the Department of Surgical Sciences and a Professor of Periodontics. Guided implant placement and digital dentistry are research interests he passionately combines with patient care to provide the best service using the latest evidence for his patients. Dr. Guentsch is seeing patients on Tuesdays in the Faculty Practice.

Dr. Moe Kassab
Periodontics/Implant Dentistry
Dr. Moe Kassab graduated Dental School in 1996 and then attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his Specialty Certificate in Periodontology and a Masters in Oral Biology in 2001. He moved to Boston to work as Faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and participated in clinical dental research at the Forsyth Institute with a focus on soft tissue grafting and esthetics around natural teeth and dental implants. Dr. Kassab is an active member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology and was a recipient of The American Academy of Periodontology Educator Award for Outstanding Mentoring in Periodontics. He has published many articles on periodontics and implant dentistry, is a reviewer for various dental journals and lectures nationally and internationally. Dr. Kassab is a Clinical Professor and recently celebrated his 16th anniversary at Marquette. He works at the Faculty Practice on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings with an emphasis on Periodontology and Dental Implants.

Dr. Vrisiis Kofina

Dr. Vrisiis Kofina is an Assistant Professor of Periodontics and the Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at Marquette. Dr. Kofina received her dental training at the University of Athens, Greece. Upon graduation, she worked in private practice in Athens before she pursued her passion for Periodontics. Dr. Kofina received her periodontal training and Master's degree at The Ohio State University. She is certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery by the American Board of Periodontology, and she is the recipient of the Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics and the 2021 Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship from the American Academy of Periodontology and its Foundation. Dr. Kofina is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and American Association of Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research and is available in the Faculty Practice on Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.

Dr. Swati Rawal began her education in India, receiving both her Bachelors in Dental Surgery and Masters in Periodontology. She went on to receive a Masters in Oral Biology and Certificate in Periodontology at The Ohio State University. She is a Diplomate in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery of The American Board of Periodontology. Before joining Marquette in 2018, she worked at several universities, including the University of Tennessee, The Ohio State University, and the International Medical University in Malaysia. Dr. Rawal has an impressive list of publications, presentations and invited lectures, and is an active member of various professional organizations and holds many prestigious awards, honors and licenses. She welcomes patients in Faculty Practice on Monday mornings.

Dr. Ayman Ahmed
Prosthodontics/General Dentistry
Dr. Ayman Ahmed received his dental degree with honors from Mansoura University, Egypt. He served as Prosthodontic faculty at a dental school in his hometown where he also had a private practice. Dr. Ahmed went on to finish his Masters before starting his Ph.D. in a joint supervision program between Mansoura University and University of Texas - M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Ahmed pursued training in the U.S. through a Prosthodontics residency program at the University of Iowa and became board certified in Prosthodontics in 2014, the same year he joined Marquette University School of Dentistry as an Associate Professor. He is currently the Pre-doctoral Program Director of Prosthodontics and Biomaterials and Interim Director of Graduate Program in Prosthodontics. Dr. Ahmed’s research focus is on implants and head & neck cancer. He sees patients in Faculty Practice on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons.

Dr. Diego Brilhante came to Marquette in 2024 from Brazil, where he earned his dental degree in 1997 and a master’s degree in prosthodontics in 2001, both from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. He taught dentistry at various Brazilian dental schools — both predoctoral and graduate programs — in prosthodontics and operative dentistry, and also maintained a private practice for 25 years.

Dr. Cindy Dodo is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics at Marquette University. She is also a Scientific Advisor for Dental Implant Companies and Digital Dentistry Software Developers. Dr. Dodo received her Dental Degree at the University of Campinas, where she also received her PhD in Clinical Dentistry with focus on Prosthodontics, followed with a Fellowship at the University of Rochester. Dr. Dodo is a Specialist in Dental Implants certified by the Brazilian Federal Council of Dentistry and has been working with Digital Technlogies to improve her treatment outcomes and patients experience. In her clinical practice, she values human care which is shown through consideration for the patient systematic conditions, previous experiences, and daily habits. Dr. Dodo welcomes patients on Mondays in Faculty Practice where she provides improvements in aesthetics and life quality.

Dr. Roda Seseogullari-Dirihan

Dr. Roda Seseogullari-Dirihan earned her D.D.S. from Dicle University in Turkey, where she also completed her first Ph.D. and specialist program in Prosthodontics before pursuing a second Ph.D. in Cariology and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Turku in Finland. Dr. Dirihan then served as an adjunct associate professor at Bahcesehir University and post-doctoral researcher at the University of Michigan's School of Dentistry before joining Marquette University as an associate professor. Her impressive research portfolio includes 33 peer reviewed academic publications with more than 900 citations, several case reports, numerous presentations as well as two prestigious awards in dentistry. Dr. Dirihan focuses on aesthetic dentistry and dental implants and welcomes patients on Fridays in the Faculty Practice.

Dr. Manal Hamdan
Radiology
Dr. Hamdan received her dental training at the University of Jordan and worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Jordan Hospital. After relocating to the United States, she completed her Masters and certificate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of North Carolina - Adams School of Dentistry, before joining Marquette as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Predoctoral Program in Oral Radiology. When Dr. Hamdan is not writing reports, she spends most of her time teaching dental students/residents or planning research projects on C.B.C.T. and artificial intelligence applications in dentistry for which she is the recipient of several awards, including the Albert G. Richards Research Grant Award and the AAOMR Research Award. While Dr. Hamdan is in the Faculty Practice clinic on Wednesdays, she looks forward to serving referring Dentists and Faculty Practice patients throughout the week.

Dr. Yasser Khaled

Dr. Yasser Khaled is a specialist in Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and TMD/Orofacial Pain. He has a B.D.S. and a M.D.Sc. in Oral Pathology from Ain Shams University, Egypt, a M.M.Sc in T.M.D./Orofacial Pain from the University of Alberta, Canada and finally, a G.P.R. and Oral Medicine Certificate from Carolinas Medical Center, U.S.A. Dr. Khaled has been awarded hundreds of certificates from around the world, including the Lester Burkett award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine for the best research in 2017. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Marquette and is also an Adjunct Faculty for the Medical College of Wisconsin and member of the C.O.D.A. review committee. Dr. Khaled sees patients on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons in the Faculty Practice.

Dr. Yeshwant Rawal

Dr. Yeshwant Rawal is a Professor in the Department of Surgical Sciences at the Marquette University School of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate and Director of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. In his 30 years of experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, Dr. Rawal has held several national level leadership positions in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. In addition to his academic and teaching activities, Dr. Rawal is also a reviewer for many journals and was on the editorial board the North American Society of Head and Neck Pathology. He also maintains scholarly connections through invited presentations, C.E. courses and over 65 publications and abstracts. Dr. Rawal shares his knowledge with patients on Wednesday afternoons in Faculty Practice.
