Below are links to three different websites that help to explain different types of plagiarism and how to avoid it.

Plagiarism 101

This simple website gives an overview of what plagiarism is and provides examples of different information and sources that need to be properly cited. In addition, you can find a list of techniques on how to avoid plagiarizing and includes an “Ask the Experts” feature where you can review frequently asked questions or submit a new question.

Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)

This website offers numerous resources about appropriate academic and research-based writing techniques, examples of appropriate paraphrasing and exercises for you to complete and check, guides for accurate MLA and APA citation, and several strategies to avoid plagiarism.
