Emergency Grant Aid funds are available to assist Marquette University students who experience a financial emergency or unanticipated expense that causes financial hardship. This funding is meant to help in emergency situations that may affect a student’s ability to continue their academic progress. Our goal is to provide students with emergency grant aid to reimburse emergency expenses and help continue their academic journey at Marquette.

MarKept Move Out

MarKept Move Out provides gently used houseware items for students to shop at low to no cost to supply resources for the upcoming academic term for their living spaces. All items at our location have been donated by students as they moved off campus in Spring 2026. We offer cleaning supplies, storage drawers, futons, small appliances, and more. We will be open From August to early September, starting with international students and first generation, and will open campus wide as residence hall move in begins.

Sexual Violence Victim Advocate

A university sexual violence victim advocate is available to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance for victims of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking or sexual harassment. The advocates are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are just a phone call or an email away. Advocacy services is a confidential resource, which means that they will not report what you share with them to the Title IX Coordinator.

Marquette Backpack Program

On-campus food pantry that provides groceries and necessary toiletries to any Marquette student who is having difficulty accessing affordable, nutritious food and other essential household items. After registering in person, students will be able to shop for a few days-worth of groceries including fresh produce, frozen meat and non-perishables and additional personal products. There are no requirements to use this free and confidential resource and no student will be turned away.

Marquette Volunteer Corps members serve once a week at one of several partners across Milwaukee. Transportation is provided and participants are expected to attend several reflections throughout the semester.

Student Activities

414 Fellows

Fellows serve 300 hours over a 10-month Americorps term, spending 10 hours a week serving in early childhood education at Next Door. Participants receive an educational award, earn $10/hour, and attend weekly reflections and trainings.

Campus Activities strives to create a vibrant, positive, and supportive Marquette community where students make a difference, foster meaningful relationships with others, learn about themselves, and develop leadership and life skills. Our programming Board provides weekly events with the goal of fostering a healthy and safe environment where students can engage with the Marquette and Milwaukee communities. All programming is alcohol free. Our programming foci are the social, emotional, and physical dimensions of wellness, though our programs may also overlap with other dimensions of wellness.

Programs include: Civil Rights Pilgrimage, Indigenous Solidarity Immersion, Countering Islamophobia Immersion, Near West Side Immersion, Nonviolence and Religious Peacebuilding in India, Delegation to El Salvador, and Nonviolence and Religious Peacebuilding in Kenya/Rwanda.
