Residence Hall Amenities

Abbottsford Hall is for first-year students and only offers one room type: triples. The building is co-ed by floor and does not offer air conditioning. A Living-Learning Community is not available. Bathrooms are private. Dining is available in different residence halls: Cobeen Dining (3 minutes to the east) and Commons Dining (8 minutes to the west). Abbottsford is 3 minutes away from the center of campus (Raynor Library and the Alumni Memorial Union).

Carpenter Tower is for first-year students and offers two room types: singles and doubles. The building is co-ed by floor and does not offer air conditioning. There is a Nursing Living-Learning Community. Bathrooms are private. O'Donnell Hall is for first-year students and offers two room types: singles and doubles. The building is co-ed by floor and does not offer air conditioning. A Living-Learning Community is not available. Bathrooms are Common. Dining is available in different residence halls: Cobeen Dining (11 minutes to the east) and Commons Dining (3 minutes to the west). O'Donnell is 7 minutes away from the center of campus (Raynor Library and the Alumni Memorial Union).

Schroeder Hall is for second-year students and only offers one room type: doubles. The building is co-ed by floor and does not offer air conditioning. A Living-Learning Community is not available. Bathrooms are Common. Dining is available in Schroeder Hall, as well as in different residence halls: Cobeen Dining (5 minutes to the east) and Commons Dining (6 minutes to the west). Straz Tower is for first- and second-year students and offers three room types: singles, doubles, and quads. The building is co-ed by floor or by door, and offers air conditioning. There are Honors, Umoja, and Nuestro Hogar Living-Learning Communities. Bathrooms are private. Dining is available in Straz Tower, as well as in different residence halls: Cobeen Dining (4 minutes to the west) and Commons Dining (13 minutes to the west). Wells Street Hall, part of The Commons, is for first- and second-year students and offers two room types: singles and doubles. The building is co-ed by floor or by door, and offers air conditioning. A Living-Learning Community is not available. Bathrooms are common. Dining is available in Wells Street Hall at Commons Dining, and Cobeen Dining is 11 minutes to the east. Wells is 6 minutes away from the center of campus (Raynor Library and the Alumni Memorial Union).

All Residence Halls feature a Residence Hall Director, a Facilities Manager, Resident Assistants on every floor or wing, and a Hall Minister or Jesuit-In-Residence. All buildings have 24/7 front desk security, laundry facilities, a Chapel, a computer lab with a PrintWise station, WiFi, cable television, a mail room, a game room, study spaces, community lounges, a piano room, and a kitchenette. All rooms feature Twin XL beds (lofting/ladders available), a desk and desk chair, a book shelf, dressers, wardrobes and/or closets, and trash and recycling bins.
