Historical Facts

Built in 1928, Cobeen was formerly the LaSalle Hotel. The university purchased the building in 1964, remodeled it in 1965 and dedicated it in 1966. The hall is named for Charles Cobeen, a 1920 Marquette alumnus and longtime student union and university business manager.
