Community Service Fair | September 9th, 2026

O-Fest offers students the opportunity to explore Marquette's student organizations by talking to organization representatives and signing up for organizations of interest. In addition, there will be a number of university offices and departments present to share information about various programs and services available to students at the university. Connect + Serve: Rally Round | September 19th, 2026

Make a Difference Day | November 14th, 2026

Make a Difference Day focuses on assisting older homeowners in the Milwaukee community in preparing their homes for winter. We are excited to invite student teams, clubs, and as many community members as possible to join us for this meaningful service event! Gather your friends and organizations to work together and make a positive impact in the Milwaukee community. MLK Connect + Serve | January 19th, 2026

Come learn more about the MLK legacy on MLK day 2025 in the Marquette Alumni Memorial Union. Meet new people and be immersed in your community while learning more about service and how you can contribute. There will be many activities offered such as card making, restoring book, and creating care kits that will all go toward the Greater Milwaukee Community. Join us on this day off and volunteer to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King and serve our community. Register here.

Community Impact Showcase: March 27th, 2026

The Community Impact Showcase is designed to showcase the work of Marquette’s community-engaged undergraduate and graduate students from select campus programs.  Audience members are invited to view student posters that represent their knowledge about or impact within the Milwaukee community and/or their own leadership growth. Justice in Action: March 28th, 2026

The Justice in Action Conference (JIA) is a one-day student-focused conference to explore your role in service, community and social change. JIA is a time to develop new skills and knowledge on social justice, foster civic dialogue, and challenge perspectives on social systems. Learn more here.

Marquette Community Day of Service: April 18th, 2026

Marquette Community Day of Service, formerly Hunger Clean-Up, is our largest and longest-running day of service. Since its beginning in 1989, over 34,000 students, faculty, staff and alumni have served with community partners in the city.  Marquette Community Day of Service is one of the many ways we can connect with our mission and with Milwaukee through service.  

Marquette Community Day of Service is open to all members of the Marquette community. By serving, you can increase awareness, support and allocate resources for local nonprofits. Register here.
