Services and Equipment

The AHPRC has an extensive equipment catalog. Equipment can assist Marquette researchers with the following:

• Neuromuscular testing (e.g. A/D converter, electrical simulator, etc.)
• Cardiovascular and pulmonary testing (e.g. ECG unit, pulse oximeter, etc.)
• Somatosensory testing (e.g. aesthesiometer, algometer, etc.)
• Imaging (e.g. DXA, ultrasound, etc.)
• Training / rehabilitation (e.g. scifit ergometer, woodway treadmill, etc.)
• Activity monitoring (e.g. SIMI motion capture system, etc.)
• More

The AHPRC has multiple spaces for Marquette faculty, staff, and student use. Please see our room reservation document to learn about how to claim a space. Priority is given to funded research projects.

Fees charged will be used to cover the direct cost of services. All research applicants must complete an AHPRC Resources Application form and have IRB approval. The Resources Application will be used to create an estimate for services. Additional costs will apply if AHPRC staff are required for testing and will be reflected in the estimate. Disposable supplies must be provided by the investigator. In conjunction with the Resources Application and IRB, applicants will need to demonstrate sufficient competency with the equipment that will be used, as judged by AHPRC staff. Costs below reflect investigator-only use costs (without AHPRC staff support) and investigators will be responsible for setup, calibration, and cleanup. Costs listed are for internal users.
