The Center for Nursing Student Success works collaboratively with our college and university partners to ensure all students can succeed and thrive in their program. Through strategic and student-centered practices and co-curricular programs, we strive to inspire, challenge and empower students to achieve academic and personal successes.

Tutoring - Direct Entry MSN: Direct Entry MSN Milwaukee students can sign up for 1:1 course content tutoring by scheduling directly with a tutor via their Calendly scheduling portal. Direct Entry MSN Pleasant Prairie students can sign up for 1:1 course content tutoring via their Canvas student success course. Bachelor of Science in Nursing

  2. Leader of Care: Facilitate leadership through collaboration & advocacy to design & coordinate safe, cost effective, quality care for individuals, families and aggregates.

Master of Science in Nursing

  1. Use data and analytical processes to discover, critique, and/or synthesize nursing knowledge for the continued improvement of nursing care across diverse settings.
  2. Integrate pertinent theories, research and other evidence, as well as patient and population perspectives to guide master’s level nursing practice
  3. Effectively use varied modes of communication, informatics and technology to promote safe and high-quality patient care.
  4. Initiate, maintain, and promote intra- and interprofessional collaboration.
  5. Demonstrate leadership in ethical and clinical decision making using a system’s perspective.
  6. Provides culturally appropriate evidence based clinical prevention and population health to individuals, families and aggregates.

Uniforms

College of Nursing students may have uniform requirements based on their academic program. Undergraduate nursing students, Direct Entry MSN students, and Nurse Anesthesia DNP students will receive specific information from their program advisors regarding their uniform needs. All College of Nursing students who have uniform requirements or need uniform pieces can order directly through Cintas. Uniform guidance can be found in your College of Nursing Student Handbook. Exact garment sizing can be found here. To order, proceed to  www.cintas.com. Select "Shop" and then select "My Company Store". When prompted, enter the MyCintasID, "Marquette". Navigate to the left panel and select "School of Nursing". Browse the options using the fitting guide to select the best fit. Check out through the shopping cart.
