• All Marquette University College of Nursing students are assigned to a Student Success Advisor. Advisor offices are located in the Center for Nursing Student Success for Milwaukee-based students.
• Academic Advising Guidelines
• Undergraduate Advising
  • All undergraduate students are advised by a professional Undergraduate Student Success Advisor.
  • Undergraduate students are required to meet with their advisor at least one time per semester. Advising may take place one-on-one or in a small group setting. Students should familiarize themselves with the advising timeline. 
• Graduate Advising
  • All Direct Entry Master's students are advised by a professional Advisor. Milwaukee Direct Entry MSN students are advised by the Graduate Student Success Advisor on Milwaukee’s Campus in Straz Hall. Pleasant Prairie Direct Entry MSN students are advised by the Academic Advisor in the academic building in Pleasant Prairie.
  • All traditional MSN, DNP, PhD, and NAEP students are advised by their Program Director and receive additional support from the Graduate Student Success Advisor.

Our Clinical Placement Team secures clinical sites and assignments for all undergraduate and graduate students.

All students are required to upload health information to CastleBranch.com. Required immunizations and documentation can be found via the undergraduate student handbook and graduate student handbook. Contact CastleBranch at 1-888-723-4263 for assistance uploading documentation. 

The Center for Nursing Student Success hosts personal, professional, career development co-curricular programming for nursing students throughout each fall and spring semester. Program information is shared directly with students via their MU email address.

 The Center for Nursing Student Success organizes on-campus CPR classes each year. Students will be notified of dates, times and instructions for registration via e-mail. 

Students will have the opportunity to try on uniforms before purchasing. Students will be notified of dates and times to try on uniforms via e-mail. 

Students should refer to their student handbook for CPR and uniform policies.
