2026 Permit Renewal Information

Faculty and staff parking permits expire Friday, July 31, 2026 and 10-month permits expire Sunday, May 31, 2026. Permits do not renew automatically.

Employees who wish to continue parking on campus must submit a renewal application through the “Manage Your Parking Account” portal on the Parking Services website.

Employees have until Friday, June 26, at 4 p.m. to renew their parking permit through the online portal. Those who renew their permit by June 26 will receive their parking permit through campus mail in July. After June 26, employees can still purchase a permit through the online parking portal; however, they will need to stop into Parking Services after July 20 to pick up their permit.

When logging into the parking portal, employees will be prompted to confirm vehicle information, choose their parking permit type and select their parking lot or structure. Anyone who chooses a new lot or structure different from their current assignment will be notified throughout the summer if their request for a new assignment was granted. Parking Services cannot guarantee requested assignment changes will occur. Employees will also need to pay any open parking citations prior to renewing their permit.

Permit distribution in July

Employees who renew their permit through the online portal by June 26 will receive their vinyl parking permit stickers and display instructions through campus mail in July. If you do not receive your sticker in your campus mailbox by July 24, please contact Parking Services. Employees who renew their permit after June 26 will need to stop into Parking Services after July 20 to pick up their permit. Vinyl parking permit stickers must be displayed on the rear exterior passenger side window by Aug. 1; those not properly displaying their permit sticker run the risk of being ticketed.

New Permits

To purchase a permit valid through July 31, 2026, visit Parking Services in person to complete an application.

Permits valid starting August 1, 2026, can be purchased online through the Manage Your Parking Account portal. After submitting your application, please allow one business day for processing. Applications are processed Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Permits will be available for pickup at Parking Services one business day after your application has been submitted.

For parking purposes, faculty and staff are defined as full-time or part-time employees.

Regular university employees may pay for their parking permit via payroll deductions. Non-university employees engaged in work directly related to university operations are classified as faculty/ staff.

Cancellation

To cancel a permit, the vinyl permit sticker and hang tag (for Structures 1 and 2) must be returned to the Parking Services Office to cancel parking. No refunds will be given and payroll deductions will continue unless these items are returned. Credit or refunds are not given for short-term absences such as days off or vacations. The Parking Services Office must receive prenotification of any extended absence to provide parking fee adjustments.

Parking Assignment Change

To request a change to an existing parking assignment, please emailParking Services. Please note that Parking Services cannot guarantee approval of parking assignment requests. Assignments to specific parking facilities are primarily based on seniority.
