PARKING PERMITS FOR STUDENTS
SPRING 2026 STUDENT PERMITS
Student parking permits for spring semester will go on sale through a tiered system beginning on Tuesday, November 18 and will be available until they are sold out.
Parking permits will be available in line with the following schedule until they are sold out. Once permits are sold out, students will have access to add themselves to the waitlist.
**Registration opens each day at 9am**
Tuesday, November 18: All commuter permits (No 24-hour permits available for this tier)
Tuesday, November 25: 24-hour permits - graduate students (including law and dental), seniors, juniors who live on campus in university-owned housing.
Tuesday, December 2: 24-hour permits - graduate students (including law and dental), seniors, juniors who live off campus.
Tuesday, December 9: 24-hour permits – sophomore students
Tuesday, December 16: 24-hour permits – freshmen students
PICK UP purchased permits at the parking office in the AMU's Union Station starting January 5, 2026.
When purchasing a permit, all sales are final. At the time of purchase, if the permit type (daytime commuter, evening commuter, part-time commuter, or 24-hour permit), permit length (fall/spring semester only or academic year) and/or lot/structure is not available for purchase, contact Parking Services at 414-288-6911 before purchasing the permit. Once payment is submitted, a permit will be assigned and any change requests (permit type, permit length, lot/structure) to the permit are not guaranteed.

**Please Note: Any outstanding citations registered to your account must be paid before or during this transaction before permit will be released.
To purchase your permit, you will need the following information:
- Marquette user name and password (for help with your account, contact IT Services TechSquad at 414-288-7799)
- Vehicle make, model, color, state license and license number
- Credit card for payment (Master Card and Visa accepted)
GRADUATE STUDENTS can pay for parking permits via payroll deduction by contacting Parking Services at 414-288-6911 BEFORE purchasing your permit.
Parking on campus with your permit:
- Parking structures require a valid hang tag for entering and exiting.
- Parking lots require your MUID to enter and exit.
- Permit must be displayed on the vehicle when parking on campus.
PLEASE NOTE: Valid permits that show your location and expiration date must be picked up from the parking office and properly displayed on the vehicle when parking on campus. Vehicles not displaying a valid permit are subject to ticketing. Persistent/repeat violators are subject to towing.
