Associate Professor Emeritus of Management - International Business

Dr. Jamshid Hosseini is an Associate Professor Emeritus member of the Management Department at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, specializing in decision analytics and operations & supply chain management. He is currently CEO at US Global Connect, LLC (USGC-USA), an organization that provides international educational and management consulting services. Additionally, He is also the Managing Director at SpaceZet USA, a UAV (Drone) marketing and Sales company. Dr. Hosseini holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Ph.D. in Systems Science & Cybernetics from Portland State University in Oregon, USA.

Dr. Hosseini has an extensive record of teaching, research, and consulting, primarily in operations and systems-related areas of business. As a professor and Director of International Business Studies (1999-2017), he contributed to curriculum development, program development, faculty development, teaching, and research worldwide, including in Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, and many other countries. Dr. Hosseini has developed and led over 70 short-term study tours worldwide, focusing on study abroad programs and student mobility initiatives.

His funded grant programs include the recruitment and training of IT students from India, as well as USAID-funded grants for academic program development in the Czech Republic and Russia. His consulting activities have focused on healthcare IT systems, public utilities, and market research in the movie entertainment industry.

Dr. Hosseini has an extensive record of research publications, primarily in multivariate and multicriteria decision analytics. International financial services are also among his main professional interests. His recent peer-reviewed publications cover cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in Vietnam, as well as product diversification and capital structure, also in Vietnam. Above all, global academic collaboration remains Dr. Hosseini’s passion.
