Ayman A. AhmedDr. Ayman A. Ahmed, B.D.S., M.S., Ph.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Ayman Ahmed received his dental degree with honors from Mansoura University, Egypt. He served as Prosthodontic faculty at a dental school in his hometown where he also had a private practice. Dr. Ahmed went on to finish his Masters before starting his Ph.D. in a joint supervision program between Mansoura University and University of Texas - MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Ahmed pursued training in the US through a Prosthodontics residency program at the University of Iowa and became board certified in Prosthodontics in 2014, the same year he joined Marquette University School of Dentistry as an Associate Professor. He is currently the Pre-doctoral Program Director of Prosthodontics and Biomaterials and Interim Director of Graduate Program in Prosthodontics. Dr. Ahmed’s research focus is on implants and head & neck cancer.

 

Neil BucholtzDr. Neal R. Bucholtz, D.D.S.

Dr. Bucholtz graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1976 and then the Indiana University Department of Graduate Prosthodontics. He is currently in private practice in New Berlin, Wis., and part-time faculty in the postgraduate program in prosthetic dentistry at Marquette with special interests in gnathology and dental ceramics.

 

Michael Karczewski Dr. Michael B. Karczewski, D.D.S.

Dr. Karczewski is an alumnus of the Marquette University School of Dentistry and the graduate program in prosthodontics at Marquette. He feels so strongly that his time here shaped him so positively to become the dental professional he is today. He continued as dental faculty right from his time as a resident to today, now approaching 30 years. He has enjoyed the opportunity to help guide the residents through their educational experience since they give back as much or more than he has given them.

 

Kenneth Sobczak Dr. Kenneth P. Sobczak, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Sobczak has always been interested in Prosthodontics education. As a past Prosthodontics program director and current faculty at the Marquette School of Dentistry, he has greatly enjoyed sharing ideas and techniques with highly motivated residents.

 

Les TimmDr. Leslee Timm, D.D.S.

Dr. Timm is a unique dentist. His training and love for dentistry began at Marquette School of Dentistry in 1998. He then had an opportunity to serve our nation's veterans while completing a three-year Prosthodontic residency with the VAMC in Portland, Oregon. Les joined a select few accepted to UCLA’s Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial prosthetics in 2005. While at UCLA Les had the opportunity to provide prosthetic rehabilitation for a patient suffering facial and oral deformity under the mentorship of Dr. John Beumer, III. In 2007 Dr. Timm became the Prosthodontic division head of Gunderson Health System’s Department of Dental Specialties. His strong desire for education and the science of surgery led Dr. Timm to complete his surgical training with Gundersen Health System in 2015. Les is now proud to say that he is one of very few dentists to complete Prosthodontic and Oral Surgery residencies and is now the only one of that group who is board certified in both fields. Dr. Timm now owns a private practice in Lacrosse, Wisconsin limited to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Prosthetics.
