To create a comfortable environment for all, we ask that students abide by the following policies:
- Arrive on time to scheduled sessions and come prepared with questions.
- Respect their tutors’ time and boundaries. Do not reach out to your tutor(s) outside of scheduled sessions unless tutor has specified it is allowed.
- Be courteous to the tutor and other students during sessions. Any disrespectful language or actions will be reported to staff members by tutors. Staff have the right to remove students from tutoring sessions if words/actions do not align with respectful behavior.
- If you are a small group attendee, you are expected to attend each week. You are allowed 3 absences before being removed from the group.
- Tutors are mandated reporters for Academic Integrity Violations. Students are expected to uphold the MU Academic Intergrity Honor Code.
- Tutors are Title IX mandated reporters. Tutors are required to report concerns related to sexual misconduct, harassment, or discrimination when they are told about or observe such behavior involving others.
