"Dr. Lee Za Ong, associate professor of counselor education and counseling psychology, has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services worth $2.4 million to develop and expand experiential training opportunities to improve the distribution and supply of the behavioral health workforce."

Biological sciences professor receives $1.37 million NSF CAREER grant to study impact of light on breathing
"Dr. Deanna Arble, assistant professor of biological sciences in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, has received a CAREER grant from the National Science Foundation with an expected value of $1.37 million to study how light affects breathing and the maintenance of blood oxygen levels."

Dr. Jeanne Hossenlopp named ‘Woman of Influence’ by Milwaukee Business Journal
dr. jeanne hossenloppDr. Jeanne Hossenlopp, vice president of research and innovation, has been named one of Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2020 Women of Influence, a list of 30 prominent business and community leaders from southeastern Wisconsin. Hossenlopp was one of three women in the “Innovation” category of the award. Women of Influence are leaders within Milwaukee’s professional community. Whether they work in public policy, entrepreneurship, community engagement or research – these women have grown businesses, created products and made southeastern Wisconsin a great place to live and work.
